Friends, Mends And School

Time has passed by so fast

Till this day we have memories which'll last

We made friends who are with us

We unite for lil' squabbles and make alot of fuss

In this school we had loads of fun

Studies all along were on the run

Few years later we all will depart

All the friends will fall apart

Some will be forgotten with time

Yet forgetting others will be a crime

May everyone here touch their aims tomorrow

May they stay away from every grief and sorrow

No Tears!

Standing beneath the starlit sky

Trying so hard not to cry

A word of comfort is all I need

This is my endless greed

Who can do this for me?

A dear friend, someone special it would be

I can see everyone distancing

Making faces, everyone grimacing

Can I not hold them back?

A voice to call is what I lack

But somewhere deep inside

My heart screams to decide

Can I live with the pain?

Will there be any gain?

Am I trapped in a silent ring?

Let me drown in the teary sea..

Not that I'm a stranger or so

Nor an enemy or foe

But I never proved to be

A friend you'd love to see

A bad beginning it was

Yet we'll never know the cause

Sorry may not fit in here

To me you are truly dear

A friend is one who makes you smile

But our friendship is another trial

Thanks may be too simple now

You make my friend laugh, I wonder how

This makes you better than a friend to me

A source of ecstacy and glee

Let me ask a question in the end

Will you be my new friend?
